As we get closer to the wedding weekend we know that you’ll be looking out for a place to stay – hopefully some of the following will help you…

We personally recommend you stay at the Hotel Tres – where we’re having drinks on the Friday night. The Tres are currently holding 7 rooms for the Walton Wedding Party – it probably shows no availability but drop them a line. However, it is €220 a night inc tax and brekkie and you may have to do a min of 2 nights. It’s situated in the old town, a few mins from the cathedral and on a street with loads of restaurants and bars.

If you’re looking for an apartment or a villa then you should definitely check out airbnb – there are some awesome places available. Remember the island is small so nowhere is really too far away, most places are no more than 30 mins in a cab. We’ll be based in Santa Catalina which is about a 10-15 min walk from the Hotel Tres and is a good area for bars and restaurants.

If you don’t want to look yourself then we have a concierge service, Deliciously Sorted Mallorca, who will find a place to your brief – there isn’t a direct fee, it will be rolled into the rental amount. These are also the people to talk to for nannies.

Going back to hotels, on the same street as the Tres there is also Puro and Palau Sa Font and then there are a few other boutique hotels dotted around the old town if that’s what you’re after. On the Sat and Sun night we’ll be staying at the Portixol which is near where we’ll be having lunch on the Sunday, about 5 mins in a cab from the cathedral – it’s a bit pricey but amazing. If you do want to stay there but they claim not to have any availability then let us know and we might be able to swing it for you.

There are though literally hundreds and hundreds of options from being in the city to the coast. If you’re worried about the location then you can always run it by us but don’t freak out, as we said, nowhere is really too far away.

Ok gang, this wedding is on! We’d love for you to join us in Mallorca on our wedding day on the 28th September and ideally a bit longer.

We’ll be doing drinks and dinner the night before, and late lazy lunch the day after. The big day itself will be a late start to try and avoid all us pasty Brits getting too sun burnt. The venue owners expect us to be there until the sun rises but we’ll probably pull the plug around 2am.

We’ll be recommending things to do and places to stay plus we’ll give you the details of a free concierge service who can hook you up with villas, babysitters, stretched hummers and more.
